Growing spaces,
for growing humans
The RümiRuum modular system can be configured in different ways depending on your needs. Below are some examples of our recent work.
Play area for
kindergarten
class
A RümiRuum gives your classroom extra space for children to play in an enclosed space, allowing their imagination to run free.
Perfect for role play through the integrated little shop area and the curtains which can enclose the area turning it into a little house.
The options are endless and with different accessories the space can constantly evolve and change with minimal effort and cost.
The RümiRuum pictured here was even used as a “ship” in a theatre production in one of our Kindergarten customers.
The highlight for many children is also the added upper level, which can also be used in many ways and allows for a separate space where children can enjoy quiet time or relax when feeling overwhelmed.
Play and learn area in children’s room
A RümiRuum can add a playroom and study to an existing room. This RümiRuum is set up on the upper level as a relaxing reading corner on the one side, and a playing section with dolls and a baby bed on the other side.
The lower level is split into a play shop area on the one side, and an arts and crafts creative area on the other side with a small desk and chairs.
The stairs are used for toy storage as well as a hanging space for dress up clothes.
Two beds for children sharing a room
A RümiRuum can also be used as a safer and bigger “bunk bed”. This RümiRuum allows one bedroom to be split into two, so that each child has their own space, while still allowing the other side of the room to be used for play, desks or cupboard space.
What our customers love about using the RümiRuum as a sleeping area, is that both levels ensure safety for the children while sleeping. With the barrier at the upper level extending all the way to the top, there is no risk of falling from the upper level.
The lower level creates a perfect floor bed which is also ideal for smaller children transitioning out of a cot.
Adapt to your child’s needs as they grow
