When we had a second child, we quickly realised we needed more space for the children to play, romp, relax, and sleep. We wanted furniture that would grow with them, be high-quality, and environmentally friendly. We were looking for a loft bed that would not only be for sleeping but also for playing, offering each child their own "piece" of space, which would also promote development and inspire their creativity.

After an exhausting and unsuccessful furniture shopping trip, we realised that such a thing simply didn't exist. Benji came up with the idea of ​​simply building a two-story bed – but one that would be safe enough for the children to play (and sleep) in peace and quiet, even alone, without the risk of falling or falling. As a trained engineer and his passion for wood construction, RümiRuum was born.

With his passion for innovative design and our commitment to sustainability, we set out to produce a piece of furniture that is both functional and beautiful.

RümiRuum was our solution that not only saves space but also adapts as children grow and their needs change. This is how we came up with the idea of ​​modular, configurable furniture that can seamlessly transform from a play area to a learning area to a sleeping area.
